Dr. Leah Howell is a two time kidney transplant recipient, and in 2015 she walked in to a hospital and did not leave for 87 days after a routine test went terribly wrong. In both 2017 and 2019 she took solo trips abroad, specifically with the goal of processing and healing from trauma.
